Job summary

Core Specialty Insurance Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to define and govern the target-state data architecture across operational, analytical, AI/ML, and reporting platforms.

You will partner with business, engineering, security, and governance to establish scalable data patterns, trusted data products, and AI-ready data foundations to support underwriting, claims, finance, risk, and regulation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 15+ years of enterprise data architecture, data engineering, or related leadership roles.
• 5+ years designing cloud-based data platform solutions at scale.
• Experience leading architecture for data transformation, governance, or AI/ML enablement.
• Hands-on with SQL, Python or PySpark; data modeling and pipeline design.

Responsibilities

• Define the enterprise data architecture strategy, reference patterns, roadmap, and standards.
• Establish target-state architectures for data platforms including lakehouse, data warehouse, and data mesh.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to translate needs into governed data capabilities.
• Design AI-ready data foundations including feature stores, model data pipelines, and responsible AI controls.
• Lead architecture reviews for data and analytics initiatives ensuring security, privacy, and compliance.
