Job summary

Core Specialty is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect in Cincinnati, OH to define target-state data architectures across operational, analytical, AI/ML, and reporting platforms. You will partner with business, engineering, security, and governance to establish scalable data patterns and trusted data products, while ensuring security, compliance, and observability across data pipelines.

The role drives DataOps/MLOps, governance, and engineering standards, guiding modernization of legacy assets

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise data architecture, data engineering, analytics, or related technology leadership roles.
5+ years designing or governing cloud-based data platforms and enterprise-scale analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

Define the enterprise data architecture strategy, reference patterns, roadmap, and standards across data ingestion, transformation, storage, and reporting capabilities.
Lead architecture reviews for data and analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment to security, privacy, regulatory requirements, and audit readiness.
Partner with business and technology leaders to translate needs into governed data capabilities and reusable engineering patterns.
Guide modernization of legacy data assets into cloud-native, secure, scalable platforms aligned to Azure-first direction.
