Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Cloud Engineer / Cloud Architect to join the Audit Technology Alliance. You will own Azure-based cloud designs for scalable AI microservices, collaborate with AI/ML engineers and PMs to translate requirements into robust infra, and drive architectural innovation and governance.

Lead AKS/KEDA configurations, implement robust CI/CD pipelines, and mentor the team to ensure high availability and secure cloud solutions across the global audit practice.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in cloud architecture, solution design and infra management in an enterprise.
• Master's degree preferred; Bachelor's required.
• Strong hands-on Azure experience with AKS, KEDA, Service Bus, and AI Search.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of scalable, resilient cloud architecture on Azure for AI microservices.
• Translate application requirements into robust, cost-effective infrastructure designs for modern AI agent patterns.
• Evaluate new Azure services and MLOps practices to improve performance and reliability.
• Architect and optimize AKS and KEDA configurations for auto-scaling and LLM usage.
• Mentor engineering teams and establish best practices for IaC, CI/CD, and cloud governance.
• Design a monitoring and observability strategy for high availability and verifiable performance.
