Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Cloud Application Developer to modernize enterprise applications and migrate Power Platform solutions to Azure-native applications. The role is hands-on and includes architecture assessment, migration planning, and practical development across frontend, backend, and data layers.

You'll work with cross-functional teams to drive production readiness, establish engineering standards, and mentor development teams. The position is remote for qualified U.S.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise application development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud-native architecture and development.
• Experience assessing Power Apps/Power Platform and migrating to Azure-native solutions.
• Strong development experience with React, .NET, REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Assess Power Apps/Power Platform apps; document architecture and migration approaches.
• Design and develop cloud-native enterprise apps using React, .NET, REST, microservices, and Azure services.
• Design data solutions with Azure Cosmos DB and Azure SQL; plan data migration and performance optimization.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps; enable monitoring and observability.
