Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Cloud Application Developer to modernize enterprise applications and migrate Power Platform solutions to Azure-native apps. You’ll work across frontend, backend, and data layers using React, .NET, REST APIs, microservices, Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL.

Lead design, development, migration, and production readiness while mentoring teams and shaping engineering standards. This remote US-based role offers flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise application development and cloud modernization.
• Hands-on Azure cloud-native architecture experience and Power Platform migration to Azure.
• Proficient in React, .NET, REST APIs, microservices, and systems integrations.

Responsibilities

• Assess Power Apps/Power Platform apps and define migration strategies to Azure-native solutions.
• Design and develop cloud-native enterprise apps using React, .NET, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Build data solutions with Azure Cosmos DB and Azure SQL including data models and migration.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps; ensure security, monitoring, and observability.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring during modernization initiatives.
