Job summary

Infosys Limited in the US is seeking a Principal Consultant - Infrastructure Management to lead end-to-end Azure-based infrastructure programs for complex enterprise platforms.

You will design scalable, secure Azure solutions, drive automation, governance, and coordinate cross-functional teams, with a focus on reliability, performance, and migration readiness.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in architecting solutions on Azure IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
• Strong experience in discovery, assessment, and migration of infrastructure.
• Experience designing Azure platform using IAAC with Terraform.
• Ability to design end-to-end technical solutions for a global Azure platform.
• Hands-on experience deploying Azure services (App Services, AKS, AAD, VNets).
• Drive governance, modernization, and automation initiatives across teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Develop diagnostic tools, monitoring, and resolve incidents with root cause analysis while ensuring SLA adherence.
• Conduct IT infrastructure evaluations and due diligence; identify gaps and propose enhancements.
• Create scalable, secure, high-performing IT infrastructure solutions.
• Optimize deployment processes and ensure environment readiness; document deployment steps.
• Implement robust change management to minimize risks and integrate updates.
• Analyze performance and implement advanced monitoring to prevent bottlenecks.
• Implement security measures and disaster recovery strategies.
• Identify automation opportunities and measure impact on efficiency.
• Collaborate with multi-vendor and cross-functional teams; document activities.
• Create knowledge repositories and drive learning within the team.

In the assigned Job Role of Infrastructure Consultant 3, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Develop diagnostic tools, establish monitoring protocols, and resolve complex incidents through root cause analysis while ensuring SLA adherence and creating action plans to prevent recurrence
• Conduct detailed IT infrastructure evaluations and due diligence across multiple tracks, identify gaps and risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to recommend tailored enhancements and validate infrastructure details
• Create scalable, secure, and high-performing IT infrastructure solutions
• Optimize deployment processes, ensure environment readiness, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to creation of deployment documentation
• Develop and implement robust change management protocols to minimize risks, analyze proposed changes, and ensure smooth integration of system and technology updates
• Analyze and enhance system performance by implementing advanced monitoring tools, addressing capacity needs, and designing solutions to prevent bottlenecks
• Implement security measures and disaster recovery strategies including risk assessments
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, design and implement automation tools, and evaluate their impact to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Collaborate with multi-vendor and cross-functional teams to ensure project execution and document project activities
• Create specialized knowledge repositories, document methodologies, and drive learning to preserve organizational insights and enhance team efficiency

Required Skill and Experience

• Extensive experience in architecting solution leveraging Azure IaaS, PaaS, SaaS services also extensive experience of hard-core infrastructure consulting
• Strong Experience in Foundation, Discovery and assessment and migration of Infrastructure
• Strong Experience in designing & building Azure platform using IAAC (Terraform)
• Ability to design & drive the technical solution end to end for a Global platform involving Azure, Network, Infrastructure & Security
• Lead the design of scalable, secure Azure solutions for enterprise workloads
• Hands-on experience deploying Azure services: App Services, AKS, AAD, VNets, etc.
• Drive modernization, governance, and automation initiatives across teams
• Partner with stakeholders to align architecture with business goals
• Ability to quickly establish credibility and trustworthiness within key stakeholders in client org
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Understanding of DevOps and Cloud Industry trends and Azure vs other cloud platform feature capabilities
• Azure Certification - Solutions Architect –Professional

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
