Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 1 to contribute to a dynamic Retail, Consumer Goods, and Logistics unit in the United States. You will participate in interviews, aid in design discussions, and develop software features while ensuring robust monitoring and production support.

The role demands hands-on experience with enterprise monitoring, security best practices, and strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Strong IT infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on Dynatrace administration and observability platforms.
• Deep understanding of enterprise monitoring, alerting, and performance concepts.
• Experience supporting large enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Knowledge of infrastructure: architecture, systems management, networking, platform engineering, security, and site reliability/monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document requirements.
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications and assist in process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications per design specs.
• Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects to improve software performance.
• Support integration of new software features within the existing system infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications and document maintenance procedures.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs, and ensure accurate documentation of stakeholder requirements
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications, and aid in creation of process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications, following detailed design specifications to meet user requirements
• Execute test plans, analyse outcomes, and report defects to the development team, to facilitate enhancement of software performance
• Support the integration of new software features, facilitating smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and creation of comprehensive documentation for ongoing system maintenance
• Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository

Required Skill And Experience

• Strong IT infrastructure experience
• Strong hands‑on experience with Dynatrace administration and observability platforms
• Deep understanding of enterprise monitoring, alerting, and performance management concepts
• Experience supporting large enterprise infrastructure environments
• Strong understanding of: Infrastructure architecture, Systems management, Networking, Platform engineering, Security best practices, Site reliability / operational monitoring

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Experience collaborating across technical and business teams
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience with: SolarWinds, CheckMK, Microsoft Intune / endpoint management & PC-focused infrastructure and endpoint technologies

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
