Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC in Illinois seeks an experienced API professional to architect and implement enterprise API solutions on Azure API Management (APIM). You will design governance, security standards, and lifecycle management across Azure environments, driving scalable integrations and robust API strategies.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement enterprise API solutions on Azure APIM.
• Establish API governance standards, lifecycle management, and security best practices.
• Develop APIM policies including authentication, authorization, rate limiting, transformation, caching, and routing.
• Design secure integrations using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and other Azure Integration Services.
• Implement enterprise authentication using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and Azure Entra ID.
• Build scalable, highly available, and secure microservices-based integration architectures.
• Automate deployments using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates).
• Collaborate with cloud, application, infrastructure, and security teams to define API strategies and integration standards.
• Monitor API performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize API gateway configurations.
• Ensure enterprise compliance, governance, and security standards across Azure environments.
