Job summary

Applied Information Sciences (AIS) is seeking an AI Foundry Platform Engineer to build, secure, and operate the Azure Government AI platform for governed use of Azure AI Foundry and approved models.

You will translate architecture into repeatable platform capabilities and reliable developer experiences, leading cross-functional delivery and ensuring scalable, secure solutions on Azure. This role offers impact-driven work in a mission-driven, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Azure engineering experience including networking, identity, and monitoring.
• Hands-on with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or Azure ML.
• Experience with Entra ID, managed identities, private endpoints, Key Vault, Log Analytics.
• Strong scripting/automation with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support Azure AI Foundry projects and deployments.
• Build monitoring, telemetry, and cost management capabilities.
• Ensure secure integration with enterprise systems and vendor tooling.
