Job summary

FM Industries, Inc. seeks a AZ Supervisor, Quality Control to lead the plant's quality deployment and process improvement efforts. You will manage the quality team, drive data-driven investigations, and collaborate with engineering and operations to support company improvements.

The role reports to senior leadership and oversees up to 20 staff including coordinators, inspectors, and engineers. The successful candidate will have a BS in Engineering or Quality or 5+ years related experience, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Quality discipline or 5 years related experience
Advanced knowledge of ASME Y14.5GD&T techniques
5-7 years leading and managing quality or manufacturing organizations in relevant sectors

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of the plant quality operation including audits, inspection, quality engineering, first article reporting, non-conforming product management, supplier quality
Set appropriate goals for department staff and evaluate quality standards and approaches
Act as a strong advocate for quality in the New Product Development Process
Represent the company externally in conversations with key customers and partners
Establish a sustainable culture of continuous improvement
Synthesize quality performance data for presentation to executive leadership
Drive improvement to KPI metrics (COPQ, QPPM, Supplier Quality QPPM, DMR/RMA)
Champion FMI Internal Audit programs (LPA, POR audits)
