Job summary

Lyon College in Little Rock, AR is seeking an Enterprise Applications Specialist I to support axiUm administration, configuration, and reporting for the School of Dental Medicine. The role focuses on system setup, user support, testing, documentation, and operational troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in information systems, data analytics, healthcare informatics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience supporting or administering enterprise software systems, preferably in healthcare/dental/academic settings.
• Experience with report development and SQL queries using Crystal Reports, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and documentation discipline.
• Ability to gather requirements from clinical, academic, and administrative stakeholders and translate into system/reporting needs.
• Familiarity with ticketing, change logs, and version control for reports.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary resource for axiUm administration, configuration, and day‑to‑day system functionality.
• Maintain axiUm configuration areas, including templates, code sets, forms, and user settings.
• Troubleshoot axiUm issues for clinical, academic, and administrative users and resolve workflow or access concerns.
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to translate operational needs into axiUm configuration, workflow, or reporting solutions.
• Participate in testing and validation of axiUm workflows, system updates, configuration changes, and new functionality.
• Coordinate with operational teams to support appointments, procedures, billing, provider/student assignments, clinic productivity, and related dental school workflows.
• Ensure axiUm configuration, access, data handling, and reporting practices align with HIPAA, FERPA, and RBAC standards.
• Develop knowledge of axiUm data structures and clinical workflows, including appointments, procedures, billing, and productivity.
• Ensure reports and datasets comply with HIPAA/FERPA and security standards.
