MassMutual seeks an Axis Modeling Actuary to join the Life Valuation Modeling team, driving financial reporting, valuation, and strategic initiatives across the enterprise. The role requires deep modeling expertise with Axis and participation in regulatory and governance processes.

The team manages statutory reserves and GAAP/LDTI valuations for multiple products, delivering results and insights to stakeholders while collaborating with audit and technology partners in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or related quantitative field.
• ASA designation required.
• 4+ years actuarial experience in insurance/financial services.
• 1+ years of experience with Axis.

Responsibilities

• Apply deep modeling expertise to valuation projections in Axis.
• Lead complex projects such as Cash Flow Testing, new product implementations, assumption changes.
• Deliver Stat, Tax and GAAP financial results.
• Improve valuation model governance and versioning methods.
• Collaborate with internal and external tech partners to improve efficiency.
• Apply knowledge of life insurance products and regulations to valuation software.
