Job summary

TrustedQA, Inc. is seeking an experienced AWS Software Engineer to design and implement cloud native services on AWS for a federal contract.

You will collaborate with product, data, and DevOps teams to build scalable backend systems that handle high data processing, rapid caching, and advanced search capabilities. This role requires two days onsite at the Bethesda office, with opportunities to influence architecture, migrate legacy components, and ensure security and compliance standards such as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 3–5 years in AWS roles (Developer/Architect) with hybrid AWS projects.
• Experience with hybrid AWS architectures and migrating on-prem to AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, deploy scalable microservices on AWS with Java.
• Manage data systems with DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Redis caching.
• Tune Elasticsearch/OpenSearch clusters for low latency search.
• Ensure high availability and performance across SQL/NoSQL and search.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and CloudFormation based infrastructure.
• Follow NIST 800-53 and HIPAA compliant templates.
