Job summary

System One is seeking an experienced AWS Python Developer to support the development and modernization of cloud-based applications and data solutions within a large financial services environment. This role will lead hands-on development across AWS technologies, working with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable solutions aligned with enterprise objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Python software development experience.
• Hands-on experience in AWS cloud environments with services such as Glue, Lambda, ECS, EMR, Redshift, DMS, S3, SQS/SNS, and RDS.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java, with solid SQL proficiency.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile practices.
• Experience developing, testing, troubleshooting, and deploying enterprise applications or data solutions.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and best practices.
• Ability to employ AI-assisted development tools to accelerate SDLC activities.
• Excellent collaboration skills with stakeholders, developers, and technical teams.
• Knowledge of enterprise development standards and software engineering best practices.
• Financial services experience is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, developers, and technology teams.
• Adhere to enterprise development standards and best practices for reusable components and software engineering.
