AWS Project Manager required in South Africa (Remote).

We’re looking for an AWS Project Manager to lead the charge on high-impact cloud projects. If you’re part organiser, part communicator, and part AWS fan… keep reading.

Your mission:

Bring clarity, pace, and purpose to every cloud project — and make sure our clients see real value from day one.

Bring your 3+ years’ project management experience in IT, cloud, or consulting and your know-hoe around AWS landscape with experience in Jira, Monday.com or AutoTask.

Type: Permanent – Remote in South Africa.

Salary: R40 000 – R80 000 pm depending on experience.

What you’ll do:

• Own AWS project delivery — from onboarding to wrap-up
• Keep cross-functional teams aligned, focused, and accountable
• Manage deliverables, timelines, budgets, risks (and all the fun stuff)
• Work hand-in-hand with clients, internal teams, and AWS partners
• Support funding programmes (MAP, OLA, WAFR) and FinOps initiatives
• Spot process gaps, fix them, and share lessons learned along the way

You’ll shine if you:

• Have 3+ years’ project management experience in IT, cloud, or consulting
• Can juggle multiple projects without dropping a ball
• Know your way around AWS (no need to code, just get the landscape)
• Use tools like Jira, Monday.com, or AutoTask in your sleep
• Communicate clearly, professionally, and without drivel
• Are a self-starter who thrives remotely and owns your outcomes

Bonus points for:

• AWS Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect Associate
• Project certs like PMP, Prince2, AgilePM, or Scrum Master
• Experience with AWS partners, cloud consultancies, or FinOps principles
• Exposure to AWS funding and optimisation programmes
