Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a seasoned Cloud/DevOps engineer to automate AWS provisioning with Terraform, build CI/CD pipelines, and ensure secure, compliant operations across hybrid environments.

You will collaborate with security, networking, and data teams to enable mission-critical pipelines, maintain documentation, and contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning. A Public Trust eligibility is required before onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 4–10 years in AWS/cloud infra or enterprise IT ops.
• Strong hands-on Terraform for AWS automation.
• Experience building/operating CI/CD pipelines with Git, Jenkins, CodePipeline, Docker.
• Strong scripting in Python and Bash.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, zero-trust, and frameworks NIST/CIS/ISO 27000.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Automate provisioning and lifecycle management of AWS services using IaC (Terraform or similar).
• Deploy, configure, harden, and maintain infrastructure across AWS and hybrid environments.
• Standardize reusable IaC modules and improve environment consistency.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows with Git, Jenkins, CodePipeline, Docker.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure/automation issues for reliability and performance.
• Implement operational visibility with logging/monitoring dashboards.
• Support zero-trust/compliance-aligned infrastructure operations (NIST, CIS, ISO 27000).
• Collaborate with security, networking, engineering, data teams; support DR/BC.
• Document engineering standards; present findings to technical/non-technical stakeholders.
