Job summary

IBM Consulting UK FutureNow seeks an experienced AWS Platform Technical Architect. You will design scalable, secure AWS architectures, align them to business needs and drive major platform decisions. You’ll lead cloud migrations, optimize costs and foster DevOps practices across delivery teams.

You will collaborate with development teams, guide automation through Terraform/CloudFormation, and contribute to cloud team growth including Nordcloud recruitment and technical evaluation of candidates.

Qualifications

Hands-on AWS experience with EC2, S3, VPC, RDS and EKS.
Terraform and IaC automation experience.
Experience recruiting or hiring for cloud roles (Nordcloud).
Strong Linux and VMware knowledge; secure, scalable cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

Architect scalable, secure AWS solutions aligned to business needs.
Design and configure core AWS services and monitor environments for HA/DR readiness.
Lead security, cost optimization, and compliance practices across platforms.
Drive cloud migration assessments, designs and execution.
Build automated infrastructure via Terraform or CloudFormation.
