Job summary

Accounting and Auditing Services is seeking a skilled AWS Developer Contractor to provide Level 1 and Level 2 production support for a real-time AWS-based integration layer connecting Workforce Management Engine, Salesforce, and external vendor systems.

The role requires troubleshooting REST APIs, API Gateway, and batch/file-based integrations, monitoring AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Step Functions, and CloudWatch, and maintaining runbooks and integration catalogs to ensure reliability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an AWS Developer or Cloud Support Engineer with production support.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, CloudWatch).
• Experience troubleshooting REST APIs and cloud-based integrations (API Gateway, etc.).
• Familiarity with SFTP/PGP, encryption protocols, and batch processing systems.
• Hands-on with CloudWatch Logs Insights for log analysis and incident triage.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor AWS CloudWatch and Step Function statuses across API and batch integrations.
• Triaging and resolving incidents within SLA parameters.
• Troubleshoot API failures related to validation, timeout, or authentication issues.
• Address batch processing failures and coordinate reprocessing/backfill activities.
• Maintain runbooks, documentation, and an integration catalog.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the integration infrastructure.
• Stay current with AWS best practices to enhance reliability and security.
