Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring for a software development role within the Replenishment Planning team. You will design and implement federated, highly scalable distributed systems with low latency and high throughput to support AWS infrastructure supply chain planning.

You will work with SDEs across teams, mentor juniors, and help set standards while delivering enterprise-grade software for global operations. This is a hands-on role emphasizing robust design and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for large systems.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years designing and developing large-scale distributed software.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver enhancements to existing features and new features with technical solutions.
• Communicate requirements and constraints with stakeholders across teams.
• Translate vague business problems into concrete technical designs in a high-ambiguity domain.
• Lead projects, plan, estimate tasks, and guide execution.
• Mentor teammates through code and design reviews.
• Improve and streamline the team's engineering processes.
