Job summary

AnaVation, a leader in solving complex technical challenges for the U.S. Federal Intelligence Community, seeks an experienced cloud engineer to join a high-performing team onsite in Quantico, VA. You will manage a hybrid environment, AWS infrastructure, GitLab CI/CD, and on-prem hardware to support mission-critical applications.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, plus the ability to obtain SCI with CI polygraph. Hybrid options available after you establish yourself on the team.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in cloud or relevant systems engineering.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to complete a CI polygraph.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure with IaC.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
• Hands-on experience maintaining physical servers.
• Experience patching Debian-based Linux and Windows systems.

• Maintain and improve AWS commercial infrastructure using infrastructure as code.
• Run and troubleshoot GitLab CI/CD pipelines across dev, test, and prod.
• Keep multiple environments stable and consistent.

Description of Task to be Performed:

AnaVation is seeking an experienced cloud engineer to join our high-performing team. This work is onsite in Quantico, VA. You’ll keep a complex hybrid environment running for a missionenterprise application that people depend on every day to do their jobs. That covers AWS commercial accounts, a GitLabCI/CD pipeline across dev, test, and prod, and on-prem hardware that you’ll maintain from the rack up. This is an on-siterole, with hybrid options available once you’ve established yourself on the team.

What you’ll do

• Maintain and improve AWS commercial infrastructure using infrastructure as code
• Run and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines in GitLab across dev, test, and prod environments
• Keep multiple environments stable, consistent, and working as expected
• Rack, swap, and maintain on-prem servers
• Patch and update on-prem Debian-based Linux systems
• Support monitoring and logging so issues are caught before users notice them

This position requires regular on-site presence in Quantico, VA. Applicants who do not currently reside withincommuting distance to this location should describe how they would satisfy any onsite requirements.

This position requires an active Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI accesses with a CI polygraph.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in cloud or relevant systems engineering
• Active TS/SCI clearance, and willingness to complete a CI polygraph
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure with infrastructure as code
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
• Hands-on experience maintaining physical servers
• Experience administering and patching Debian-based Linux and Windows systems

The listed salary range reflects our market-based compensation structure. Final compensation will depend on business needs, local market conditions, internal equity, and the selected candidate’s skills, education, and experience.
