AnaVation, LLC is seeking a Cloud Developer to support Windows and Linux in AWS, develop scripts, and drive DevSecOps automation. You will manage Jira/Confluence, assess cloud readiness, and guide migrations while ensuring secure, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud solutions.

This role requires a Top-Secret clearance and is on-site in Washington, DC with no remote option. You will design cloud-native apps and maintain high availability across environments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.).
• Experience with IaC using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Ability to implement DevSecOps practices and secure cloud environments.
• Experience documenting cloud architectures and configurations.
• On-site work in Washington, DC with TS clearance.

AnaVation is seeking a Cloud Developer to supportWindows and Linux environments on AWS, develop and maintain scripts, and support DevOps automation. This roleuses Jira and Confluence to track work and maintain technical documentation. This role will drive automation usingDevSecOps best practices, guide application migration to the cloud, and ensure secure, resilient, and cost-optimizedcloud solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implement automation for cloud resources following DevSecOps best practices (CI/CD, infrastructure as code,automated testing, security scanning, etc.).
• Debug and troubleshoot cloud stacks and services across multiple environments.
• Patch and maintain Windows and Linux systems using AWS Systems Manager Patch Manager.
• Manage and maintain Atlassian Suite including Jira and Confluence.
• Analyze applications and workloads to determine cloud readiness and provide recommendations on migration,refactoring, and deployment strategies.
• Assess and recommend which platforms and applications can move, migrate, and/or be deployed into public,private, or hybrid cloud environments.
• Define and implement strategies for failure/recovery, business continuity, and disaster recovery in the cloud.
• Design, develop, and implement cloud-native applications; migrate existing on-premises applications to cloud platforms.
• Ensure high availability and uptime by designing resilient architectures and monitoring strategies.

This position requires a Top-Secret clearance with the ability to be on-site in Washington DC with no remote option.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: A bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline
• Required Skills/Certs:
• 4+ years experience with major cloud service providers (i.e.: Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, or Google).
• Experience performing development and deployment activities on a private/public cloud solution or acomparable high availability environment.
• Deploying and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
• Implementing and maintaining security best practices for cloud environments.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and processes
• Must be able to work full-time on-site at our customer location in Washington, DC.
• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-native application design (microservices, containers, serverless).
• Familiarity with containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) and related orchestration tools.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools for cloud environments (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor,Stackdriver, ELK/OpenSearch).
• Knowledge of cost management tools and FinOps practices.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google ProfessionalCloud Architect).

$65,210.28 - $161,772 a year

Please note: The listed salary range reflects our market-based compensation structure. Final compensation will depend on business needs, local market conditions, internal equity, and the selected candidate’s skills, education, and experience.
