Job summary

Stellent IT LLC in Washington, DC is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to support a secure enterprise data platform hosted on AWS GovCloud. The role focuses on AWS infrastructure provisioning, IaC, CI/CD, networking, monitoring, and troubleshooting of containerized workloads.

Ideal candidates will have strong cloud fundamentals and hands-on AWS experience, with a Bachelor's degree and relevant AWS certification; familiarity with GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, and EKS is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional.
• Working knowledge of core AWS services and concepts (VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, EKS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
• Foundational understanding of AWS networking (VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups).
• Familiarity with IaC concepts and CloudFormation.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and maintain AWS infrastructure components supporting EDP environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and other approved tools.
• Support CI/CD pipelines used to deploy infrastructure and platform configurations.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, connectivity, permissions, and platform issues in coordination with senior engineers.
