Nightwing seeks an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the consolidation of a cloud development environment in AWS GovCloud and migrate separate development networks into a single, unified platform. You will design scalable, secure architectures and drive automation to reduce manual effort.

The role emphasizes automated workflows, infrastructure-as-code, and collaboration with DevOps to enhance CI/CD in a mission-critical setting. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifikationen

• U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance are required.
• Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of directly related experience acceptable in lieu of degree.
• 8+ years of relevant experience; 5+ years designing cloud architectures (AWS).
• Experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation; IaC tools like Terraform/Ansible.
• Strong cloud security knowledge and compliance practices.

• Lead design of a consolidated AWS GovCloud development environment.
• Plan and execute migration of separate networks into a single unified environment.
• Develop automation frameworks and infrastructure-as-code templates for provisioning and deployment.
• Provide systems engineering project leadership for a large development effort.
• Interface with customer and stakeholders to derive migration specifications.
• Implement encryption, hardened configurations, and compliance safeguards for a classified environment.
• Collaborate with DevOps to enhance CI/CD pipelines.
• Support risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies during migration.
• Conduct architecture reviews and guide implementation teams.
• Evaluate new cloud services and technologies to improve operations.
• Troubleshoot complex architectural issues during migration and active operations.
