Job Title: AWS Java Full stack Developer

Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite per week)

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AWS Java Fullstack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, and AWS cloud services along with hands-on experience in front-end technologies such as Angular/React. This role requires a strong problem solver who can design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise-level applications.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices deployed on AWS.
Build and consume RESTful APIs for application integration.
Develop scalable and responsive UI applications using Angular or React.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevOps practices on AWS.
Work with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, etc.
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment for cloud-native applications.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Required Skills

Professional experience as a Java Fullstack Developer.
Strong proficiency in Java 8/11+, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud development & deployment.
Experience with RDBMS (Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, Gradle).
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
