Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a FinOps - Project Manager to establish and lead an AWS FinOps operating model, ensuring governance, coordination, and execution across cloud financial management initiatives. The role partners with Application, Data, Infrastructure, CloudOps, and Finance teams to turn identified optimization opportunities into measurable savings.

The position requires extensive experience in project/program management and AWS FinOps, with a track record in governance and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of strong project/program management experience, preferably supporting AWS cloud or FinOps programs.
• 5+ years experience in AWS cloud financial management and cost optimization concepts.
• 5+ years experience establishing governance and operating processes.

Responsibilities

• Establish and operationalize the AWS FinOps organization, governance model, processes, roles, and operating cadence.
• Manage AWS FinOps initiatives, priorities, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items.
• Coordinate across Application, Data, Infrastructure, CloudOps, and Finance teams to drive AWS FinOps activities.
• Drive identified AWS cost optimization opportunities from identification through execution and closure.
• Track optimization opportunities, accountable owners, target dates, expected benefits, and realized savings.
• Facilitate regular FinOps governance, cost optimization, and stakeholder review meetings.
• Coordinate AWS budgeting, forecasting, spend tracking, and variance reviews.
• Develop and maintain FinOps dashboards, KPIs, project plans, and executive reporting.
• Drive accountability and follow-up across cross-functional teams.
• Support continuous improvement and automation of FinOps governance and reporting processes.
