Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a FinOps Project Manager to establish an AWS FinOps operating model and drive governance, coordination, and execution oversight for cloud financial management. You will work with Application, Data, Infrastructure, CloudOps, and Finance teams to realize optimization opportunities.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, governance, and reporting, with compensation guidance and potential incentive components based on performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of strong project/program management experience, preferably supporting AWS cloud or FinOps programs.
• 5+ years experience in AWS cloud financial management and cost optimization concepts.
• 5+ years experience establishing governance and operating processes.

Responsibilities

• Establish and operationalize the AWS FinOps organization, governance model, processes, roles, and operating cadence.
• Manage AWS FinOps initiatives, priorities, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items.
• Coordinate across Application, Data, Infrastructure, CloudOps, and Finance teams to drive AWS FinOps activities.
• Drive identified AWS cost optimization opportunities from identification through execution and closure.
• Track optimization opportunities, accountable owners, target dates, expected benefits, and realized savings.
• Facilitate regular FinOps governance, cost optimization, and stakeholder review meetings.
• Coordinate AWS budgeting, forecasting, spend tracking, and variance reviews.
• Develop and maintain FinOps dashboards, KPIs, project plans, and executive reporting.
• Drive accountability and follow-up across cross-functional teams.
• Support continuous improvement and automation of FinOps governance and reporting processes.
