CACI is seeking an AWS EKS Cloud Lead to shape our cloud strategy in a high-security environment in the United States. You will design, implement, and manage scalable, secure cloud solutions using AWS and EKS, guiding migration, architecture, and governance across teams.

The role emphasizes security, compliance, and operational excellence, with opportunities to mentor staff and influence cloud initiatives. A Top Secret/SCI CI Poly clearance and extensive AWS/EKS experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Active DOD Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly security clearance.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in cloud architecture or a related role.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Significant EKS or Kubernetes experience; containerization technologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Git, Terraform).
• Active CompTIA security+ certificate; Additional AWS certifications.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain cloud strategy aligned with business objectives; focus on AWS and EKS.
• Design scalable, secure, cost-efficient cloud architectures; create documentation and deployment guides.
• Lead implementation and migration of cloud solutions; ensure minimal disruption during transitions to cloud/EKS.
• Enforce security best practices and regulatory compliance within AWS/EKS environments.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources and performance across AWS/EKS; resolve bottlenecks.
• Mentor teams and collaborate with development, operations, and business groups.
• Manage cloud budgeting and cost optimization; track spend and savings.
• Stay current with cloud technologies, trends, and best practices; engage in training.
