Job summary
Akaasa Technologies seeks an experienced AWS DevOps / Product Support Engineer for a 6-month contract in Houston, TX. The candidate will bring hands-on AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes expertise to support production and product environments, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid onsite role.
Day 1 onsite in Houston, you will participate in incident response, implement IaC improvements, and optimize cloud infrastructure while maintaining strong communication
Qualifications

- Hands-on AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes experience required.
- Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting issues.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide production/product support in a hybrid on-site role from Day 1.
- Troubleshoot issues in cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on deployments and incident responses.

We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps / Product Support Engineer for a contract opportunity in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes, along with a solid background in DevOps and production/product support environments.
This is a hybrid position, and candidates must be available to work onsite in Houston from Day 1.
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting technical issues
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment
