Job summary

Hydrogen UK Ltd in Houston is seeking an AWS DevOps/Platform Engineer III to design, build, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure and DevOps processes for AI, Data Science, and Applications workloads across pipeline, storage, and processing operations.

Work with Platform, DevOps, and DataOps Engineers to lead automation with IaC, SaC, and CI/CD practices, mentoring engineers while occasionally traveling to the West Houston office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years AWS DevOps/Platform Engineering experience.
• 5+ years using IaC tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• 5+ years Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• 5+ years scripting with Python, Bash, or Shell.
• 5+ years Linux/Unix experience.
• 3+ years CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins).
• AWS architecture certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Terraform/CloudFormation IaC across multi-account AWS environments.
• Build, improve, automate, and shift-left CI/CD pipelines.
• Enforce security and compliance policies at resource and repository levels.
• Support deployment automation across Kubernetes clusters and data platforms.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers.
• Automate compliance integrations into CI/CD pipelines using Terraform.
• Automate IaC using Terraform, Python, and Shell.
• Occasional travel to the West Houston office.
