Job summary

Urbanrecruits is seeking a Junior–Mid Level DevOps Engineer to join a leading organization undergoing a digital transformation. This role focuses on AWS-based infrastructure, modern cloud technologies, and growth in a collaborative office environment.

You will manage AWS resources, provision and optimize environments, implement IaC with Terraform, containerize with Docker, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions, with a view toward FinOps and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on DevOps or Cloud Engineer experience.
• Practical experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS.
• Experience with IaC tools, preferably Terraform.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
• Basic Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Experience with Python and/or Bash for scripting.
• Understanding of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• Strong English reading and technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and develop the organization's AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Provision and configure cloud servers, services, and environments.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
• Participate in cross-functional technology initiatives, including AI-related projects.
• Monitor, maintain, and continuously optimize existing cloud environments.
• Collaborate with an external integration partner, gaining exposure to enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
• Support FinOps initiatives by monitoring cloud consumption, optimizing costs, and providing recommendations for budget efficiency.
