Job summary

Urbanrecruits is seeking a Junior–Mid Level DevOps Engineer to join a leading organization undergoing a digital transformation. This role focuses on AWS-based infrastructure, modern cloud technologies, and growth in a collaborative office environment.

You will manage AWS resources, provision and optimize environments, implement IaC with Terraform, containerize with Docker, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions, with a view toward FinOps and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on DevOps or Cloud Engineer experience.
• Practical experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS.
• Experience with IaC tools, preferably Terraform.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
• Basic Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Experience with Python and/or Bash for scripting.
• Understanding of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• Strong English reading and technical communication.

Position Details

• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.

• Basic Linux administration skills, including shell scripting.
• Experience with Python and/or Bash for scripting and automation.
• Basic understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization.
• Good English skills, including reading technical documentation and working with English-language tools.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge or experience in Cloud Architecture, including designing cloud environments and selecting appropriate services.
• AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator).
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS).
• Familiarity with Ansible or other configuration management tools.
• Experience with FinOps tools such as AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, or similar platforms.
• Experience working in a large-scale enterprise environment.
