Job summary

FusionIQ is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to design and operate scalable, secure cloud infrastructure. The role requires strong experience with AWS services, Terraform, and Kubernetes, and involves building robust CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and ensuring best-practice security and networking.

Hybrid onsite/remote work in the Boston area is possible. The engineer will collaborate with stakeholders, support Node.js deployments, and contribute to cloud automation efforts, including

Qualifications

• Certified AWS solution architect associate (REQUIRED)
• Strong networking and security experience preferably on AWS cloud (VPC, ELB, Route53, Security Groups configurations)
• Strong background in Devops related practices such as CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and infrastructure as code
• Experience with AWS Cloud platform and its features including EC2, SNS, RDS, CloudFormation, API Gateway, Lambdas, Auto Scaling, S3, and Kinesis
• Experience with all aspects of DevOps (source control, continuous integration, deployments, etc.)
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Excellent skills in writing cloud formation templates
• Experience configuring and deploying micro services on cloud leveraging high scalability and high availability design in Kubernetes Containers
• Experience scripting (bash, python, powershell)
• Experience with Terraform for automating AWS infrastructure
• Experience with Git,Jenkins, code pipelines;
• Experience supporting Node.js application deployments
• Experience with JIRA

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs and gather requirements.
• Design and implement AWS-based DevOps pipelines and automation.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes for high availability.
• Ensure security controls, IAM best practices, and network configurations.
• Create and maintain CloudFormation templates and Terraform configurations.
• Support Node.js deployments and integrate with CI/CD pipelines
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Code Pipelines, and monitor deployments.
