Job description

We are seeking an experienced AWS Developer with strong backend development experience using Node.js and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience designing and developing REST APIs and working with AWS cloud services, infrastructure‑as‑code, automated testing, and CI/CD workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong hands‑on experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience with NestJS or a comparable dependency‑injection framework
• Spring Boot experience may be considered as transferable experience
• Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs
• Experience with OpenAPI / Swagger
• Hands‑on AWS experience with:
  • AWS Lambda
  • API Gateway
  • S3
  • ECS
  • Secrets Manager
• Experience with CloudFormation / Infrastructure as Code
• Strong Jest unit testing experience
• Experience working with a 100% test coverage gate
• Experience with Git feature‑branch and pull‑request workflows
• Experience working with CI gates / CI workflows
• Must be able to work onsite in Malvern, PA 3 days per week

• Authoring and versioning internal npm packages
• Plugin interface development
• Playwright E2E testing
• Stryker mutation testing
• Feature flags such as Gatekeeper or similar tools
• OpenTelemetry / distributed tracing
• Honeycomb or Splunk
• Fastify
• Redis
• JWT authentication
• Brokerage/financial services experience, including:
  • Order routing
  • Trade execution
  • Cost basis
• Dexter tooling experience
