Job summary

Stealth iT Consulting in the United Kingdom is seeking a backend developer to design, develop and maintain scalable Node.js services remotely. You will build RESTful APIs, microservices and collaborate with front-end teams while adhering to security and data protection standards.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Node.js.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with Express.js or NestJS.
• Experience with asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Strong understanding of authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT).
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerisation.
• Experience using Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Experience writing automated tests using Jest, Mocha, or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities
