Job summary

System One, Inc. is seeking an AWS Cloud Security Architect to lead security strategy for enterprise cloud workloads. This onsite role spans AWS, hybrid environments, and AI-enabled applications, with collaboration across engineering and compliance teams.

You will guide security patterns, perform threat modeling, and ensure alignment with NIST, FedRAMP, and FIPS. Strong communication and hands-on AWS security expertise are essential for protecting data across cloud and on-premises interfaces.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with cybersecurity and cloud security.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity architecture roles.
• 5+ years hands-on AWS cloud security experience.
• Knowledge of NIST, FedRAMP, and FIPS.
• Experience with threat modeling and risk assessments.
• Understanding of AI/GenAI security and governance.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide security architecture guidance for AWS cloud and enterprise apps.
• Migrate workloads securely to AWS and other clouds.
• Define security patterns, guardrails, and reference architectures.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for cloud and AI solutions.
• Recommend remediation and compensating controls for gaps.
• Support AI/GenAI security, including LLM governance.
• Ensure compliance with NIST, FedRAMP, and FIPS.
• Work with SIEM, network, and endpoint security teams.
• Communicate risks clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
