Job summary

Tenacity Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to build and operate secure AWS-based platform services for a federal customer. You will craft reusable infrastructure with Terraform and CloudFormation, and drive CI/CD across pipelines, automation, and containerization.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity, solutions architects, and developer teams to enable fast, reliable workloads while meeting security and governance requirements.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
• Current CompTIA Security+ or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Current AWS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design secure, scalable AWS platforms.
• Build and maintain reusable cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Assist onboarding workloads to platform services and standardized deployment patterns.
• Support containerized workloads using ECS/EKS/Fargate.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, pipelines, and deployment issues.
• Create automation to reduce manual tasks and improve reliability.
• Maintain monitoring, logging, and access control for platform services.
• Partner with cybersecurity and compliance teams to meet requirements.
• Create technical designs, runbooks, and reusable deployment patterns.
