Our client in Scottsdale, AZ is currently hiring a AWS Cloud Platform Architect on a permanent basis.

Pay Range and Compensation

Provided by IMPACT Technology Recruiting, the pay range is $170,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience. Additional compensation includes an annual bonus.

Requirements and Responsibilities

• Must be local to the greater Phoenix, AZ Valley.
• Role is hybrid: onsite Monday to Thursday, remote on Friday.
• Legal eligibility: US Citizen, GC holder, TN, H4, or GC EAD (No sponsorship available).
• No third-party or Corp-to-Corp arrangements.
• Must have 5-10+ years of cloud architecture (AWS) and cloud platform engineering experience, with the ability to lead and mentor staff.
• Technical skills: Heavy AWS experience, especially EC2; familiarity with ECS, EKS, IAM, MSK, Lambdas, and serverless architecture.
• Hands-on experience: 10-20%; architecture and mentorship: 80%.
• Excellent communication skills: ability to assess situations, ask questions, and determine next best steps.
• Ideal total experience: 8-10 years.
