Job summary

maxRTE is looking for a Network & Security Engineer to own security and connectivity of our AWS cloud environment, network infrastructure, and IT operations. You will influence security, reliability, and scalability of systems used by healthcare providers and patients.

You will collaborate with the platform engineering team to align infrastructure and security decisions with product goals, driving automation and secure coding practices across the stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or security engineering.
• Hands-on AWS networking with VPCs, VPNs, and security groups.
• Experience with cloud security tooling and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve Site-to-Site VPN and TCP connectivity for clients and partners.
• Design automated client onboarding using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Secure and maintain API networking, including API Gateway and PrivateLink.
• Troubleshoot connectivity with client network teams, including IPsec and NAT.
• Harden network configurations and improve security posture.
• Manage interface infrastructure for healthcare data integrations with reliability.
