Job summary

Peraton seeks an AWS Cloud Migration Engineer to support a federal financial customer. You will migrate critical data flows to AWS, integrate MQ/file transfer tools, and implement CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and secure cloud solutions.

The role requires strong AWS expertise, scripting skills in Python/Ansible/Bash, and experience with CDK/CloudFormation or Terraform. US citizenship and ability to obtain clearance are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Strong AWS cloud engineering background and development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Ansible, Bash scripting.
• Experience with IaC tools (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience communicating with business users and stakeholders.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Migrate and maintain large data flows to AWS cloud environments.
• Integrate file transfer and MQ tools into AWS architecture.
• Develop infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Write clean IaC and cloud service logic.
• Troubleshoot, tune performance, and document AWS deployments.
• Coordinate with teams to align interfaces with business goals.
