Blue Origin LLC in the Greater Seattle Area is hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build and maintain AWS infrastructure for enterprise engineering tool platforms such as Teamcenter and Windchill. You will implement infrastructure as code and support environment provisioning.

This hands-on role emphasizes reliability, security, and performance, with opportunities to grow in AWS cloud infrastructure and backend operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure administration.
• 1+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications in a cloud or hybrid environment (PLM a plus).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Foundational knowledge of networking, security, and multi-tier architectures.
• Experience with relational databases (RDS, Oracle, or MS SQL).
• Proficiency in Linux server environments.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD concepts.
• U.S. Person required for ITAR/EAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, EFS, S3, RDS, ALB, Lambda).
• Write and maintain IaC using Terraform, Ansible, and/or CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain deployment pipelines for PLM infrastructure changes.
• Automate routine administrative tasks, patching, and scaling operations.
• Perform backend maintenance for Teamcenter and Windchill under guidance.
• Manage and monitor database infrastructure in PLM platforms.
• Configure and maintain observability solutions (Datadog, Splunk).
• Support security audits and remediation activities.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and IT operations.
