Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated AWS Infrastructure Developer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will design and implement scalable AWS infrastructure, deploying EC2/ECS/Lambda resources and enforcing secure network policies.

You'll leverage Kubernetes or Nomad for container orchestration, manage IAM and security controls, and troubleshoot performance and security issues. CONUS travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years AWS infra experience or equivalent.
• 4+ years hands-on AWS infrastructure engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of AWS networking services (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Route 53).
• Strong experience with AWS compute services (EC2, ECS/Fargate, Lambda).
• Expert proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with orchestration systems outside AWS (Kubernetes, Nomad, Docker Swarm).
• Experience implementing AWS security best practices and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS infrastructure architectures to support operations and data processing.
• Deploy and manage AWS compute resources (EC2, ECS, Lambda) for services.
• Implement network segmentation, security groups, NACLs, and routing policies.
• Leverage orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Nomad, or similar) for container management.
• Manage IAM policies, roles, and SCPs for least-privilege access.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure performance, connectivity, and security issues.
• Travel to CONUS up to 25% as required.
