Job summary

Security Benefit is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer (AWS) to design, deploy, and operate cloud infrastructure. You will own end‑to‑end workstreams, automate with Terraform, and collaborate across teams in a hybrid environment at our Overland Park office.

The role requires 2+ years of AWS experience, scripting ability, and strong troubleshooting. Financial industry exposure is a plus; we offer a supportive, growth‑oriented workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of hands‑on AWS cloud infrastructure experience.
• Proficiency with scripting languages (Python/PowerShell).
• Terraform for Infrastructure as Code required.
• GitLab CI/CD pipelines for deployment and change management.
• Strong troubleshooting, written communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Own workstreams end‑to‑end from design to support.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform and scripting.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues; on‑call duties apply.
• Collaborate with Network, Security, Identity, and Architecture teams.
• Maintain documentation and runbooks; use Jira for tracking.
