Job summary

Yoh in Irving, TX (Hybrid) seeks an Associate Cloud Engineer (AWS) to deploy and manage AWS infrastructure, write IaC, and automate operations. You will monitor, secure, and optimize cloud resources while supporting CI/CD and collaboration across teams.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years of production AWS experience, IaC proficiency, and relevant AWS certifications; multi-account environments and EKS experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting AWS infrastructure in production.
• Written and modified IaC templates (CloudFormation or Terraform).
• Working knowledge of AWS core services: compute, storage, databases, networking, and security.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate tasks.
• Experience with monitoring/alerting (CloudWatch, PagerDuty).
• Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• AWS Certifications (SysOps Administrator – Associate and/or Solutions Architect – Associate) required.
• Exposure to multi-account AWS environments (Organizations/Control Tower).
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity.
• Container tech (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS) and configuration management (Ansible/Chef/Puppet).
• Windows workloads support and basic Microsoft certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, administer, and support AWS infrastructure across environments.
• Write and maintain IaC templates (CloudFormation/Terraform).
• Build/maintain automation scripts to reduce manual work.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and app issues; perform root cause analysis.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
• Monitor with CloudWatch; respond to performance, availability, and security issues.
• Implement and maintain AWS security controls (IAM).
• Participate in upgrades, DR procedures, and runbooks.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Collaborate with software development, security, and infra teams.
