Job summary

HomeServe USA Corp. is seeking a driven Cloud/DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will automate using IaC, manage AWS resources, and ensure security and governance across environments.

The role emphasizes scripting in Python/Bash, cost awareness for AI services, and collaboration with development and security teams to drive business initiatives. On-site role based in Connecticut.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
• Hands-on in AWS services (S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Bedrock, containers, SQS).
• Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting in Python; Linux/Unix familiarity.
• Experience with cost management and security/compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development and security teams to support business initiatives.
• Deploy and manage applications in AWS environments.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation.
• Develop automation scripts in Python and Bash.
• Estimate costs of AWS AI related services and optimize spend.
• Implement IaC for repeatable deployments and governance.
• Ensure security through IAM roles, policies and best practices.
• Follow HomeServe Cloud and Security governance standards.
• Troubleshoot issues across development, staging, and production.
• Maintain cloud resources and pipelines per policies; document processes.
