LTIMindtree is seeking an experienced Platform Engineering Lead to drive design, development, modernization and operation of enterprise application platforms in Chandler, AZ. The role requires expertise in cloud-native technologies, platform automation, CICD, container orchestration, observability and microservices architectures.

Qualifications

• 12+ years IT experience with at least 5 years in Platform Engineering or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong experience in Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Docker and containerization.
• AWS Cloud Services.
• Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Java/Spring Boot based platforms.
• Microservices Architecture.
• Infrastructure as Code and Automation.
• Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• GitHub/Git-based source control.

• Experience designing highly available, scalable, secure enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise platform engineering solutions across hybrid cloud environments.
• Build and manage cloud-native platforms using Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker and AWS services.
• Develop platform capabilities that enable self-service deployment, automation and lifecycle management.
• Establish and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub and DevOps best practices.
• Drive app modernization, migrating from monoliths to microservices-based architectures.
• Implement platform observability using Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Kibana and centralized logging frameworks.
• Design event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Define platform standards, security controls, governance and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, SRE, security and architecture teams to improve developer productivity.
• Lead root cause analysis and platform reliability improvements.
• Mentor engineering teams on platform engineering, DevOps, cloud-native tech and automation.
• Drive continuous improvement for scalability, reliability, cost optimization and operational excellence.

Role Description

Platform Engineering Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise platform engineering solutions across hybrid cloud environments
• Build and manage cloudnative platforms using Kubernetes OpenShift Docker and AWS services
• Develop platform capabilities that enable selfservice deployment automation and application lifecycle management
• Establish and enhance CICD pipelines using Jenkins GitHub and DevOps best practices
• Drive application modernization initiatives including migration from monolithic applications to microservicesbased architectures
• Implement platform observability using Splunk Dynatrace Grafana Kibana and centralized logging frameworks
• Design eventdriven architectures leveraging Kafka RabbitMQ and messaging platforms
• Define platform standards security controls governance and engineering best practices
• Collaborate with development infrastructure SRE security and architecture teams to improve developer productivity and operational efficiency
• Lead root cause analysis and platform reliability improvements
• Mentor and guide engineering teams on platform engineering DevOps cloudnative technologies and automation practices
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on scalability reliability cost optimization and operational excellence
