Job summary

Creative G C is seeking an experienced AWS Architect for a two-month onsite contract in Arlington, VA. You will design, implement, and manage scalable, secure cloud solutions on AWS and work with DevOps on CI/CD deployments.

Responsibilities include building AWS infrastructure, IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, and security controls, while ensuring high availability, DR readiness, and cost optimization. Preference for AWS Solutions Architect certification.

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced AWS Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AWS cloud architecture, infrastructure, and migration solutions.
• Manage AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Ensure cloud security, high availability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure compliance with security best practices.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in AWS architecture and cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of networking, Linux, IAM, security, and monitoring.
• Experience with Terraform/CloudFormation and CI/CD tools.
• AWS Solutions Architect certification preferred.
