Job summary

Portland State University, College of Urban and Public Affairs invites applications for the Award Acceptance Manager within the Sponsored Projects Office. The role leads the review, negotiation, acceptance, and stewardship of sponsored research awards and related agreements, supervising a team of Grants & Agreements Specialists.

Based on the Portland campus, this position offers a flexible schedule with the possibility of limited remote work (typically up to one day per week) under a remote work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three or more years of related experience.
• Master's Degree may substitute for a portion of experience requirements.
• Experience reviewing, interpreting, and negotiating sponsored awards and research agreements.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate, and accept sponsored awards and research agreements.
• Draft and issue subaward agreements.
• Supervise Grants & Agreements Specialists and manage award information.
• Lead operational improvements and ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with SPA leadership and campus partners to support research administration.
