Lutheran Social Services (LSS) in Ada, MN is seeking an Awake Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with identified needs in a residential setting. Earn $16.00 per hour with potential raise to $16.50 after six months and a $2500 hiring bonus.

You’ll provide person-centered care, document care, and participate in training and team meetings. The role emphasizes dignity, respect, and inclusion as part of a collaborative, mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or formal education required; training provided.
• Comfort with basic computer use for documenting care and team communication.
• Ability to read and write in English to ensure clear communication.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record for community activities.
• Ability to pass a DHS background check to maintain a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships while providing guidance, encouragement, and support.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, hygiene, meals, and transportation.
• Support community involvement, social connections, and independent living skills.
• Advocate for the rights and preferences of people with identified needs.
• Monitor health and report changes; document accordingly and participate in trainings.
