Job summary

West Bay RI is seeking a 3rd Overnight Shift DSP to provide compassionate, consistent support for individuals with IDD in their homes during the night. Awake role emphasizes monitoring, personal care, medication administration, and timely communication with care teams.

Resting portion covers light duties and preparation for morning routines, with documentation and safety as priorities. Minimum requirements include being 18+, HS diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Maintain reliable attendance, punctuality and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Remain awake, alert and attentive throughout the overnight shift.
• Provide direct support and personal care based on each individual's needs.
• Monitor individuals' health, safety and personal care needs and respond appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments as authorized and per policy.
• Complete overnight paperwork, cleaning and routine tasks.
• Maintain professional interactions with individuals, families, coworkers and partners.
