Job summary

CAW Network USA in New York is seeking an AVP, Financial Reporting Tax Support to lead the preparation of current and deferred tax provisions and related financial reporting schedules. You will partner with the Tax team to gather information for tax returns and filings, and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.

Responsibilities include maintaining audit trails, supporting tax workpapers and reconciliations, and responding to audits with clear documentation and explanations of tax

Qualifications

• 3+ years of corporate tax compliance and reporting experience.
• Experience supporting tax provisions, financial statement disclosures, and tax return preparation.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP tax reporting requirements and related accounting processes.
• Experience preparing tax workpapers, reconciliations, and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of current and deferred tax provisions, tax disclosures, and related financial reporting schedules.
• Coordinate tax reporting for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, including entity-level and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with the Tax team to gather and validate information for tax returns, withholding, and other applicable filings.
• Track tax reporting deadlines and help ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
• Prepare tax workpapers and reconciliations, maintaining clear support for reported balances and tax positions.
• Respond to internal and external audit requests by providing schedules, documentation, and explanations of tax processes.
• Maintain a clear audit trail between source data, tax calculations, financial statements, and filings.
